Pat, Mainline is shown on the trail map. It is below Mainline Pocket. It is a "blue" run. You shouldn't have any trouble getting from one run to the next. http://squawalpine.com/skiing-riding...ins/trail-maps

That's a better map. The one I was looking at didn't show it. Much obliged! Yeah, it looks like it's not that long a trip from one venue to the other. Depending on how fast or slow the ski race goes, I may have to ride my snowboard in my ski boots. Would't be the first time.....

Heather and I will be there. Our local beer league finals seem to be no more, so Nastar Championships it is.

We are staying at the Squaw Valley Lodge. $248 a night.

Hey Jason. Awesome news. I am trying to iron out a few things to get freed up so I can make it.

I am hoping to finally meet both Heather and you.

    Best,

You won't regret your choice of lodging. Squaw Valley Lodge is a terrific place to stay. The management is first rate, AND you are just a few hundred steps from the lifts! I know you will enjoy your stay.

Squaw Valley is getting some snow. It's been a thin snow year, but the weather is starting to cooperate with some snowfall. This from Squaw Valley today: "Monday, Feb 26, 2018: The storm charged in early this morning and has been dumping wintry goodness all day! We’ve received 15” of fresh, light powder since 5am and NOAA’s Winter Weather Advisory indicates snow showers will continue through 10pm this evening. The forecast shows more storms arriving Thursday with 3-4 FEET of snowfall expected by Sunday." In any event, all of the race courses are well covered.
