    sugestions for bindings

I just purchased my first pair of race skis, and I look forward to getting them and trying them out,as I have been sking on a pair of 15 year old elan carve. The skis that I got are Atomic D2 gs. They did not come with bindings, so I am looking for suggestions for a set of bindings that will go nicely on these, and not cost me a bunch of money. I am perfectly fine with using a used set of bindings if someone has a set that would work well that they need to be rid of.

    Welcome to the Forum Vrizi.

I have raced on Atomics for years. While you can install many different bindings, I have always used Atomic bindings on my D2 GS skis. The standard for this ski is the Atomic X12 TL Binding.

Here's a few links from eBay for dwskis as a recommendation:

You can contact dwskis as well for some advice and recommendations. http://stores.ebay.com/coloradodiscountskis/

And here's a used pair for $25 bucks (shipping not included):

    Best of luck.

Im sorry but I am kinda new to this..... I have read that some skis will only except a few bindings. Will any binding mount to the ski that I have,....fyi they look just like the ones pictured at the bottom of your post. Also I believe that I would need a 70 - 75 brake. I have looked all over the internet for the atomic x12 bindings that you said were standard for this ski, and have not been able to find any. Sorry for all of the questions, but I would hate to buy something and then find out that they wont fit on my ski.
