    Swain and Brantling

Hey just letting anyone who knows about swain and brantling know how I did.

Swain was a nice course, not to steep, but a headwall at the top to get you moving. It was raining (dec 23rd) but didn't rain too much on my runs. I came out with either 194 GS points, or 204GS points...depending on the penalty (I saw one that was 50.00 and one that was about 39.54)
Either way that lowered my points a lot, but well I know I can ski faster, and lower them even more

Brantling is this wonderful 200 vertical foot hill, that runs there SL race from the top of there jbar to the road... I didn't feel like I was skiing a great race, but I did come out with 200.05 SL points, which lowered mine from before a lot, so I guess it worked out ok.

This weekend I will be racing a SL at Jack Frost, which may have a very high penalty, but I am still looking to ski fast, and lower my points more.

Just letting you guys know whats been going on with me in the last few weeks.

PA cups are Jan 22 and 23rd (or that weekend) at Tussey (SL) and Feb 5/6th at Blue for GS.

I am shooting for sub 170 points BEFORE the slush cup races :D

BTW if you are very confused about this, I am talking about USSA racing, and not NASTAR...Nastar racers don't need to worry about points or anything like that.

Hmmm when is my local Nastar going to open?

    The mountain...errr hill...errr bump..

There is a little perspective with this picture...Look at how tall the silo is to the mountain...

And the mad skate to the finish.

They are both in the fingerlakes on NY. I went to chaise points, not because there are great hills up there

I plan to be at blue for the PA Cup races on Feb 5/6

Mum messured me the other day, and I am a little over 6'1"

I felt kinda out of it that day (no place to take warm up runs) so be kind with the annalisis.... I have a race this weekend, but not too likely to get pictures. I will get some of GS for you guys sometime sooner or later :)
