    Retirement!

It was 68 years in the making but the day finally came. I retired in September and Penny has done the same.

We put all our belongings in storage and are selling our CT condo. We have made our VT condo our fixed base of operations while we travel.

Over the next six weeks we'll be heading south to the Keys eventually working our way back to Okemo around New Years. After the NASTAR Eastern Championships we'll drive to Tahoe for a week of skiing and then drive to Calgary to see the oldest grandsons. Grandson #4 was born in England on Oct. 26th.

From Calgary we'll drive to Breckenridge where my brother lives and then head out to Snowmass for the Nationals.

Congratulations, Pat. You will be busier now than you ever were. One of my favorite lines is that I need to go back to work to rest!
    Enjoy.

Thanks all! As Clark indicated, I'm busier now than when I was working. I've been devoting more time to my photography and art. See pat-moore.artistwebsites.com plus a new website devoted to defunct skydiving drop zones. Believe it or not I've identified 565 in all fifty states.

We've been on the road for two weeks already and have made it as far as Charleston, SC where we'll have Thanksgiving dinner with my folks (age 94 and 93) this afternoon. We booked a cruse out of Miami on Dec 8th. The agenda after that is wide open until we get to VT.

Here's a photo album of some of places we've visited so far on this trip.

Congratulations Pat and Penny! I hope to do the same in 4-5 years - it can't come too soon, work has been crazy lately. Enjoy the sun and then the snow....

    Thanks Stan.

We've been on the road for over a month. For those of you on Facebook, here's a photo album of the trip so far.

We've been to DC, Fredericksburg, VA, southeast VA, Kitty Hawk, Charleston, Savannah, Melbourne, a four night cruise to Nassau and Key West, Venice, and now a little north of Tampa. Still up are Orlando, Ashville and other points north. We'll be in Vermont around New Years.

I need to qualify for Snowmass! Lodging is already booked.

Congratulations Pat! Chad &I are heading up to Okemo for the Mt Dew opener and we were hoping to see you there. NASTAR racing at Okemo won't be the same without you. See you at Eastern champs you lucky dog.
