That'll play havoc on the MACC racers at Boyne Mountain today - can you say major ruts? More like ski cross than GS racing - ugh! At least the Marquette forecast is better....... once the rain stops this morning - everyone have fun, ski fast, and be safe! Bummed I'm not there.

Word on the street was that MACC was excellent. Sunny, warm, and firm courses.
Biggest ruts were in the muddy parking lot (no relation to Birch Run).

We had to leave early as Sean got sick again. He is feeling better today. It was great to see and race with everyone on Sat. Dinner was very nice also. Only wish the conditions had been better.

Aw, man... sorry to hear about Sean. Hopefully he bounced back. Sunday was much better, but yeah... the timing of the weather couldn't have been worse. We made the best of it and had fun, but that warm spell really impacted the hill.

We've had a ton of guns running non-stop since Saturday evening. The change already is remarkable. Bummer that our worst conditions fell on Saturday.

Great seeing all you guys, though!!! Thanks for making the effort to come up.

Mother nature is sure fickle? We had brutally cold weather here in the Rockies this weekend. Our Master's GS races on Sat & Sun ran in -15 to -20 degree weather with some wind on Sunday, sending the wind chill below -30. It was a wee bit chilly.

Sorry I was unable to make the the trip, but glad to see that many turned out and raced. Thanks JC for keeping the UP Open alive.

Thanks Jamie for hosting and Stan sorry to hear about Sean. We knew something was up when we didn't see you Sunday morning. Saturday night's dinner at L'Attitude and seeing all of our Forum friends was the highlight of the weekend for me.

Jamie are you going to upload the daily Nastar (the Rockford Illinois group Nastar) from Sunday? Also, those of us who did slalom on Saturday have our GS results recorded as slalom results.

I e-mailed Bill Madsen and he said there will be no slalom races at Nationals this year. He said they hoped to offer it sometime in the future but it will not be a Nationals event this year. I was wrong about that.

Let's hope for better conditions moving forward!

I'm not really the computer guy, but I'll check with Zane on those questions.
