Back in April I wrote Al Roker and asked if he could do a favor for an old TV Weatherman. This morning he was sitting in the studio and turned to look outside. I held up my sign and he gave me a thumbs up. When he came out he wished Penny a Happy Birthday!

Very cool what a great way to celebrate the birthday.
Thanks. It was really a fun day. High point for me was getting to spend some time with Felix Baumgartner. I watched every minute of his record breaking free fall from 24 miles. No way I could have imagined I'd be chatting with him a couple weeks later. We both took up sky diving at age 16. The first of my 2000 jumps took place seven years before he was born!
