Here's a fun set of Race Results from Winter Park

Wow, so you think Keystone has, or had a few questionable days of NASTAR scoring?

Check out Winter Park on March 3rd!!! This has to be a record for number of Platinum medals handed out.

Just check out the season's race results of the top 2 guys. I wonder if the pacesetter stopped while setting pace on Green? :)

Can't believe they actually uploaded that!

Maybe they ran out of bronze, silver, and gold medals? :)

Looks like they set the course so all the little kids would get medals.
It is stuff like this that really, really screws up the rankings.

Green and Yellow. Where people had results on both their handicaps were pretty close to each other. Maybe the pacesetter ran the course in their boots?

That's quite a set; some individuals shaved off as much as 30 handicap points from their usual handicaps.

Maybe the pacesetter had the flu that day.

Chances are they had a typo in the phoney handicaps they used for the day. WP often does not use a pacesetter, they just make up numbers. When they do pace set they are good though since the pacesetters are fast. I don't know why they do this. A friend who is a top level Masters racer could only get silver and low gold one day there (he can run single digit HCs on masters level courses). He said there were no tracks on the hill before he ran even though they had a handicap posted for both courses. I have noticed this also. The staff and pacesetters are great folks so the problem must lie with management.
