I've got room, if anyone's interested in carpooling from the Milwaukee area.

This is now on the home page of our website, and on the "Calendar" tab. Feel free to keep tabs on the conditions as the date nears. The webcams give a pretty good view of the hill.

A good PDF version of the event flyer can be found here:

Feel free to distribute!! The more the merrier....

Any discount lift tickets Jamie? Also how is the Super 8 motel? GB and son are considering the drive up to race.

Our tickets are pretty reasonable to begin with..... I'll check with the hill and see if they can do anything. I've never heard anything bad about the super 8. I'm sure it's pretty good, although I haven't been in there.

Looks like an 8 hour drive from here, have to think about it. That might be the weekend will be going to Giants Ridge.

Thanks Jamie. I am going to set this up so my son and I can race. Let me know if you come up with any lift discounts. Sounds like a great time.

I'll do my best on tickets... I'm sure they will do something. Chuck, my wife is from Stillwater, her brother and family live in Blaine, and her sister and family live in uptown so we've made the trip plenty. Best route is 35 to Duluth and across. Pretty consistently 6 1/2 - 7 hours to Blaine.

That would be about right, Blaine is about an hour north of where I live. I made the trip up to Houghton a few years ago when my son was looking at Michigan Tech. Not a bad drive, just boring ;) I think we took 35 to 2 on the way there and 63 on the way back. Not much difference timewise.

Pass through Stillwater all the time, parents have a lake place in Amery not too far across the border.

Edit - talked to my wife, I'm in. Booked a room at the Super 8
