The one cool thing about being here in Vail is That I get to see some really great skiing and then I also get to see some really awful skiing!

Does anyone know of on-line videos showing a kickstart method out of the box. My typical approach has been to just extend over the tips until I trip the wand. However, would like to start working a more aggressive lauch this year.

The Intro to racing DVD I told you guys I was working on last spring is now competed and available for sale. It covers in detail starting techniques, and how to be fast through the first couple gates. I don't want to spam here, but if anyone wants more detail on how to acquire it let me know.

Normally, by the time you are past the first gate, you are going too fast to benefit from skating anymore. (unless we're talking about Birch Run at Nubs Nob)

I still only skate to the first gate on Birch run!
