New Forum Issues

It has been awhile since I've visited the forum. Notice the new format is up (may take a bit to get used too) and some issues seem to be coming up.

First one is many of the posts with words that have ' (apostrophe) in them end up with #39 or similar non-html characters (html maps the special characters with an & sign in front) - there maybe other characters that are similar but that was one that was particularly bad in one thread. Not sure if this is the new Vbulletin format or the settings or just a browser issue as of yet.

http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm so the messages are very hard to read.

Also a minor issue- but the old bookmark to the forums does not work any more. If someone has their favorites with www.nastar.com/forums it reports page not found. Maybe they could do a forward to the new forums.nastar.com page that is the new page.

Next item is the private messages. I am over my limit (50 now) due to a decrease in the number allowed to be stored. I tried to send one to JT and he also is over his limit (not good if he is the main moderator). I also then tried to clear some out and do not find the usual delete option that other VBulletin board systems have.

Thanks JT. I was not sure and then I saw that there was a thread of issues in the General Forum. I tried to delete this one and add to that but it failed. Hopefully the major issues have been resolved and the minor ones can be worked on or can be lived with for awhile.

I know it has been mentioned before, but I could not find where. Can we get our race record linked to board name again? If its a security issue make it a choice to offer it. I had a great time hanging with Flyin at the Natiopnals it took some detective work to figure each other out. Trouble maker beat me. :) Be nice to to know a little more about eachothers race info.
