Thanks FuMan.

That's some helpful information. I suspect my season is over so I'll have to file this away for next year.

When at Windham for the Eastern Open I noted that my shoulder was dipping into the turn. AJ said he likes to visualize lifting the inside hand to square up his shoulders. When I've tried that it works. Most of the time, I'm too focused on the lay of the course to remember that.

Clearly I need to get lower. Not sure the knees will permit that. I'm meeting with the Ortho in a couple weeks to see if anything can be done before next season.

Hey Pat, not sure if you already did, but do you have a link to the morphing software? Is it freeware, or is this something you purchased? It is just way cool.

I bought it from Fun Morph a few years ago. I think it was about $30. You can download a trial version.

I started a High School Mystery Photo contest at our ski club a while back. We're up to our 87th week. Each week I publish the HS photo of a member in our website (I've run the site since 1998) and other members email me their guesses. The member is revealed at the next week's meeting. As you can expect, some are a lot tougher than others. I then post a morph for those who couldn't make the meeting. Here they are.

I actually looked at ALL the morphs! It is amazing how well it works when you get two pictures from the same angle with the same pose. Unbelievable how you got some to be so perfect. Too cool. I think I'll download the software and play with it... Thanks Pat!

For the past twenty or so I've used Picasa's Face Recognition software (free) to find a photo where the head and expression are similar. In some cases the software will find as many as 500 shots of the same person. It will pick out a face from a crowd.

Here's a sample screenshot from Picasa

I'll then use photoshop to rotate and crop to dial in as closely as I can.

In case you missed it earlier, I had morphed my HS picture into someone entirely different.

Jamie had a good suggestion morphing three different racers but this version of the software only supports two pictures.

HA! Yes I did catch the Brad Pitt morph. What I didn't realize is that the before pic is you! Great morph. I was going to ask you about the Brad morph... wondering what he was doing in your HS morphing project...
