In our yard at home, one would look nice under the cherry tree.

In our other home, how about on or under the porch? Or next to the blue berry bush? We may need to get multiple chairs.... :?

    Bear Creek, also!!

    Mumster & Dude,
Got an email back from Ms. Smally (Bear Creek). They too, have lifts left
from last years upgrades. She's checking into it for me today. I know that's a lot closer for us than Conn. I'll keep you posted.
& Mum, I got places: 1 between the rose arbor and honeysuckle, 1 between the dianthis and rock garden, one suspended 8' as a planter box for a vining plant (to be determined) that will hang to the short retainer fence just off the low deck, and 1 in the front yard rock garden, behind the black-eyed susans next to my Rossignol yard ornaments (skis). I have put way too much thught into this!! Maybe drpete3 IS right.
Dude, way to slide in that hot tub request!!!

    Chair lifts at Mt. Southington

I just got off the phone with Mt. Southington. They said with the support rod detached, it's still 6 feet by 6 feet! I'm going to drive down there over lunch time to take a look at one and I'll let you know what I find out.

    Contact made.

Pat, Mike, Mumster, Dude, and anyone else interested in the lift quest...

Ed from Mount Southington called. They have lifts left and need to know how many each individual wants and possible pick up date. (He will reserve them for us)

    Ed's email address is edb@mountsouthington.com

Pat if you need help moving one, let me know and we can co-ordinate pick up date and time.

Mike, if you are still considering having one shipped, let me know and I'll look into it

Mumster & Dude, still waiting to hear back from Bear Creek. If I don't hear from them soon, I'll probably run up to Conn., but I will probably not have enough room for additional lifts with me. We can caravan if you'ld like.

    Saw the chairs

Okay - I drove out there over lunch. They have quite a few left and many are still on the lift waiting to be replaced. They are painted yellow and seem to be in decent shape. They are 54 inches wide and measure about 50 inches from top to bottom not counting the detachable support bar. When it's attached, the height is 8 feet. It's just a hair too big to get in my minivan. I may be able to have a friend pick up one in his truck. At $99, they're a good deal. Sorry I didn't take my digital camera with me.

    Let's set up a date & time.

    Hi Pat,
I'm going to buy 3 chairs. Which means I'll be bringing up some kind of trailer with me. If you want, I can run a chair or 2 over your way on the
    same day.
We need to set up a date and time AND need to contact them with how many chairs. I'll email my order in when we set a date.

    Chairlifts for sale

I finally got a photo of one of Mt. Southington's chairs. One of our club members will be picking up one for me this week. This particular one was a surprise retirement gift.
