Midwest [/b]
But patience is not my virtue! I have been anxiously awaiting news of the date (or now it seems dates) before scheduling any other ski trips! Let's hope the news comes quickly!
Midwest.
SWEET!!
Wow , the midwest. Can we twist some arms for more imformation? Also any word where the pacestter trials are going to be this year?
How bout Marquette Mountain the same weekend as the Midwest Masters Championship, Jan 23/24th. I know we don't get to vote but what the heck it's my 1st post so may as well make it all about the best racing hill in the Midwest! :grin:Wow , the midwest. Life is good, it, just gets tricky sometimes........just like a good GS course......
Heh... not a bad idea... Ain't gonna happen I bet, though. How bout Marquette Mountain the same weekend as the Midwest Masters Championship, Jan 23/24th. I know we don't get to vote but what the heck it's my 1st post so may as well make it all about the best racing hill in the Midwest![/b]
Send me a PM, I would bet we probably know each other.....

I like the midwest idea, how about Chestnut Mountain? Apache would be a great run for a challenging NASTAR event, or maybe even Warpath. Our NASTAR course is on Blackhawk which would be too easy, but they could move it over to another run. Or one of the Wisconsin resorts.....hmmmm. Wherever it is it has to be easy to get to from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Ohio.....and Galena, Illinois where Chestnut is is right in the middle. Also Galena is a popular tourist town so there is more to do than ski. Great restaurants, shopping, the Mississippi River......
Can't wait to hear. I wish they would let us know so we can plan. I was thinking about the Open in the East this year too, might hit that as well. I have been putting the idea in ChiTownDude's head so he will begin getting used to it.....have to lay the groundwork for these things.....

Another Eastern event - that's great news. Please consider hosting it in a central location; Sunday River last year was a bit too far off the beaten path for most. How about a resort in New Hampshire? It gets lots of snow and is located in the middle of Maine, Mass, and Vermont. Mount Washington Valley has plenty of lodging; maybe Attitash or even Loon in Lincoln?
