    Excuse me, but you are supposed to give me a model waiver to sign before publishing my photo. Btw - 268 feet and nailed the landing. I think it's cause I really chalked up before takeoff.

    Had that happen to em during testfest this year. I was on a pair of Goodie ski's those things are so light I wasn't sure I should race them/ski them or fly them. The ski was way to light for my likings.

    I was thinking about this and with my limited flight school instruction the answer is quite simple. The air flow over the leading edge of the ski combined with the downward force on the trailing edge and the shifted weight will produce some upward lift. If you factor in the cold air mass along the bottom of the ski with the warm air above the ski and the forward pressure on the front of the boot (depending upon the boot size) and the amount of helium in the cranium of the skier you come up with an equation that will give you enough lift to make you think your ski is actually lifting you off of the ground. :mrgreen:
