    race suit tips

how does one approach taking off a race suit for bathroom breaks and at the end of the day? it appears that perspiration makes it even harder. if one is traveling alone and can't temporarily dislocate one's shoulder, it seems a bit impossible. any tips?

I just wear mine all the time. It was awkward at first, but the guys at the office have kind of gotten used to it.

Well... if you post anything anywhere on the web about removing articles of clothing I think you are bound to get a variety of reactions...

It seems that the Suit manufacturers could have made the suits a whole lot easier to get out of if they chose to. They could run the zipper down a little farther in the front, give us some pull tabs in strategic places or do what the wet suit manufacturers do (for that other type of skiing) and run the zipper up the back with a long tassle (you tuck it in when you are zipped up).

With my GS suit, I zip it down all the way, roll my shoulders backwards a few dozen times, arch my back, wrap my right arm around and up my back, pull on the suit while I hop on my right foot, fall down, say "M@t#&* #u%&ing s^&%" and then repeat.

I'm not sure if that helps you or not.

I don't see what the problem is...you guys have to remove your suits to go to the bathroom? Sounds like a personal problem!

    :D :D :D :D

I sort of wedge the front of one shoulder out, then pull down on the back of that sleeve.
